Try a Trade is a one week, hands on program to do just that! Join us as we explore several different and profitable career paths through hands on learning! Students will have the opportunity to earn several certificates as well as gain knowledge and a better understanding of each trade and how to apply. Instruction may include Fall Protection, Ladder Safety, Flagger Certification, Work Zone Safety, Fire Extinguisher Safety, Silica Awareness, Concrete Work, OSHA-10 Certification, CPR/AED/First Aid Certification, Hoisting and Rigging, etc. Participants will receive Personal Protective Equipment including a Hard Hat, Safety Glasses, Work Gloves and PPE bag.
